As an author, speaker, wife, and Mom, Lisa understands “busy”! Moms get so busy with the “doing” and the “giving” for their families that they often
balance on the edge of burn out. This conference will help busy Moms focus on reviving their own spirits and spending more time on activities that minister to their own souls.
Lisa Whelchel is perhaps best known for her portrayal as “Blair” in the television series “The Facts of Life.” Her current roles as a wife, author, speaker, and home-schooling mother of three, however, are her best and most fulfilling. A columnist for Today’s Christian Woman and author of several books on parenting and home schooling- including the bestsellers Creative Correction, The Busy Mom’s Guide to Prayer, and The ADVENTure of Christmas- she is also the founder of the nationwide Mom Time Get-Away events for women. Lisa, her husband and their three children reside in Texas.
